Why this site stages rather than lists
The cluster already publishes clinical accounts of each treatment, and the earlier life-stage sites cover what to plan in your twenties through your fifties. Repeating either here would tell you nothing new. The question that belongs to this stage is different: given my health, my medicines and what I am willing to spend in recovery, what should be dealt with first, what can wait, and when is the honest answer nothing at all.
Why health comes before appearance here
Blood thinners, blood pressure, blood sugar control, eye conditions, immune-suppressing medicines and smoking change which options are open to you, and they change them more than the appearance of your skin does. A plan that ignores them is not an ambitious plan; it is an unsafe one, and it is the reason the first appointment at this stage is largely a medical conversation.
How it is reviewed
Content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Aesthetic Surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no product and no brand, quotes no dose and no price, guarantees no outcome, and describes medicines only by substance class.
What no website can do
It cannot look at your eyelids and measure your field of vision, read your blood pressure or your blood sugar, know how your skin has healed from past operations, or tell you whether the thing bothering you in the mirror is worth the recovery. Those answers need an examination and, often, an eye assessment or a note from the clinician who manages your medicines. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask better questions, not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
